On 19th September the most enthusiastic members of the nextpertis team tied their running shoes and took part of the Vienna Night Run Event.
About The Event
The Vienna Night Run has been taking part since 2007 and this year it was its 17th edition. It is one of the most popular running events in Vienna and thousands of attenders took part of it every year. The Night Run is open not only for private runners but for business participants as well. A lot of companies organize team-building events around it where teams have the chance to be active and meanwhile have fun together. This year, under the moto #glaubandich our nextpertis GmbH team ran the whole distance, along with more than 16, 000 other participants.
About The Distance
The distance every participant should run is approximately 5 kilometres and the track makes one full round around the city centre, so called Ring. Alongside the route can be seen some of the most picturesque buildings in the capital of Austria, like the building of Parliament, NHM and National Oper, etc.
Interesting Facts
The organizers of the event change the starting and finish points every year so in this way each year a different prominent building along the track is honoured. The start line of this year’s edition was placed in front of the Vienna City Hall (Rathaus).
Epilogue
Some of us ran for personal results, others just for having fun but the most important part is that we all enjoyed it and we promised ourselves to do it more often and radiate those “nextpertians” who choose to not run.
